Event Description

Dates of Institute: August 7-9, 2015
First Early Bird: March 15, 2015
This Institute is a three day immersion into the Art of Storytelling. Using improv theater and movement and other exercises we will explore character, voice, movement, motivation and story arc to craft our stores for telling.  Each year has been rich with images formed by words and movements wisely chosen over the course of the three days together.  Each year we form a community amongst us.  And we have a blast!
Fun, powerful work with a seasoned Storyteller and Coach!

Who should come?

Storytellers, educators, librarians, therapists, lawyers, doctors, environmental educators, theatre professional, clergy, corporate executives/consultants, speech and language therapists....anyone who speaks with people or communicates for work! Many also come for personal growth and a chance to treat themselves to a weekend retreat away from their usual routine. Yeah....that sounds nice!

Massachusetts TEACHERS can get 20 PDP's!  There will be time allotted on Saturday to enjoy the facility and surrounding area - biking, walking, swimming, hot tubbing - or simply to relax.  Some choose to use this time to work individually on their stories.

Whatever your reason, I hope you'll consider joining us this year!
The first Early Bird Deadline is March 15, which comes with the incentives of $50 off the fee and TWO hours of free coaching!!

This is a small group experience, so register early for a spot and for your first choice in lodging!

MY MOTTO: LEARN A LOT, LAUGH A LOT!

This has been a fantastic experience that has influenced and changed the lives of all of us who attended. Now we're telling our stories, full of vivid imagery. You are a gifted teacher!"

"Great way to engage kids in storytelling activities, to unlock imagination, creativity, enhance writing and oral presentation skills."
