Moved by the silencing of the Kurdish language by Turkish laws, renowned American storyteller Diane Edgecomb embarks on a journey of intrigue and heart to record the last Kurdish storytellers. This is the deeply moving, richly humorous story of her travels through the remote mountains of Turkey and of the extraordinary people who shared their lives and their stories with her.
These performances are presented by First Church Boston as part of their Art & Spirit series, where innovative artists spend a week in residency with workshops and presentations for First Church and the community. Art & Spirit celebrates the vibrant way the arts contribute to the life of the spirit.
