This 18th century story tells of the fisherman’s daughter from Marblehead who scandalized Boston when she became Sir Harry Frankland’s mistress. From Boston to their Hopkinton estate, to London, to the Lisbon earthquake of 1755, the story explodes with passion and secrets enhanced by new historical research.
