WAKE UP AND SMELL THE POETRY
HCAM STUDIOS, 77 MAIN STREET HOPKINTON, MA.
SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 19th, 10:30 am. doors open at 10:00, admission free

TOM DALEY, NANCY BEAUDETTE, CHRISTINE HATCH and ANDREA LOVETT


On SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 19th, 10:30 am, some may still be sleeping but inside the walls of HCAM Studios...there will be many good awakening vibes of words and music taking place including: the original soul-stirring songs performed by Canadian folk singer-songwriter Nancy Beaudette and by singer-songwriter Christine Hatch of Lunenburg, the poetry of Boston poet, instructor and one-man show performer Tom Daley and the spinning of both poignant and hilarious stories by "massmouth" storyteller...Andrea Lovett (who will include serving up a seasonal turkey story for our special day of program.)

There will also be a wonderful open mic of poetry, story and song to follow with contributions artists and writers of the literary from near and far, sharing out their best in the spirit and celebration of art and community. The features are filmed for cable tv, filming of open mic participants is optional, and those interested are always welcome to just come, sit back and listen. Admission, coffee and scones free.

Stories in the Streets in an outreach literacy program that focuses on families in at-risk areas and fosters community engagement in storytelling by: 1) Creating opportunities for public storytelling wherever families gather — a farmer’s market, laundromat, or food line; and, 2) Offering storytelling workshops that raise family engagement in literacy, cultural awareness and community understanding.  The program is currently active in Lawrence, Brockton and Randolph.

This season the Company Theater Norwell

will be hosting The Grand Slam Story Slam on May 5th 7:30PM.
