Boston Comedy Fest • funny stuff, everywhere!
Friday Nov 8th 6:30- 7:30 workshop  8pm -10pm show

Boston Comedy Fest 

Frequent slam winner and massmouth host at Radio,  Dan Dahari was born deep in the heart of Mexico City and was smuggled into the U.S. by a crazy Jewish-American woman and her Mossad agent husband who taught him the ways of self deprecating humor and how to make the perfect falafel. 

Scott  Schultz was born in Marblehead and spent or misspent a decade performing standup comedy in Hollywood by night sportswriter/photographer by day. Scott is best known in Boston as the 2013 Big Mouth Off Slam Champion. More here.

Brendyn Schneider  just won at ClubPassim season V slam on the theme "magic" and he has been a featured storyteller in local venues and around New England. Check out his website here.

A story slam follows with prizes & room for seven (7) members of the audience to be drawn at random - Come to listen &/or put your name in the hat to crack us up!

Workshop: Come an hour before the show for a fun filled story workshop with Norah Dooley, co-founder of massmouth,inc,. You will learn a lot.

Tix: $15 for the 8pm show Workshop:6:30 PM limited to 20 people.  an extra $15 + ticket price if you reserve online OR an extra $25 + ticket price at the door.

Stories in the Streets in an outreach literacy program that focuses on families in at-risk areas and fosters community engagement in storytelling by: 1) Creating opportunities for public storytelling wherever families gather — a farmer’s market, laundromat, or food line; and, 2) Offering storytelling workshops that raise family engagement in literacy, cultural awareness and community understanding.  The program is currently active in Lawrence, Brockton and Randolph.
