Event Description

All ages Story Swap of Animal Tales: 12/4 at 3-5pm
and
A Worker in the Needham's Knitting Mills: 12/4 & 12/5 at 2pm

I have two events planned during the upcoming Gorse Mill Studios Open House, 31 Thorpe Road in Needham, MA. Artists studios will be open Saturday, December 4, 11am-5pm and Sunday, December 5, noon-5pm.

At 2pm both Saturday and Sunday I will be telling a historical story of a mill worker at the Thorpe Knitting Mill, later the William Gorse Co. where I, along with many other artists, now work. Presented in conjunction with the 300th anniversary of the town of Needham.

On Sunday 3-5pm All ages are invited to take part in a story swap of Animal Tales. I have just released my new CD, "Bear's Tail and other Animal Tales," which has won a Parents' Choice Award and a Storytelling World Award! Come hear folktales from around the world. Come share your story (5 minutes maximum) about animals - amusing pet adventures... an encounter with a wild animal...a favorite legend... squirrels in the attic...everyone has an Animal Tale!
