The Fifth Jamaica Plain Story Slam of the season at Doyle's @ 3484 Washington Street, Jamaica Plain, MA @ 7:00pm


The theme is "Resolution"     


Regulary recognized as Boston's best bar and restaurant, Doyle's offers and unmatched mix of good food, good talk and good people.

Doyle's is host to one of New England's largest selections of draft beer.  The mahogany bar dates back over 125 years to 1882.


Doyle's is located in the Jamaica Plain neighborhood of Boston, accesible by the Orange line and close to the Sam Adams Brewery!

On April 11, 2012, 7-9PM All the finalists will gather at Coolidge Corner,  main Theater to compete for a week in a medeival townhouse in Tuscany and other prizes.

Stories in the Streets in an outreach literacy program that focuses on families in at-risk areas and fosters community engagement in storytelling by: 1) Creating opportunities for public storytelling wherever families gather — a farmer’s market, laundromat, or food line; and, 2) Offering storytelling workshops that raise family engagement in literacy, cultural awareness and community understanding.  The program is currently active in Lawrence, Brockton and Randolph.
