Tony Kahn will serve as Master of Ceremonies.  Tony is best known for collecting “unforgettable stories from everyday people” as the founder and host of WGBH’s “Morning Stories.”   His latest project can be found at:  http://www.youtube.com/tonykahn

Since September, massmouth has held story slams in Somerville, Cambridge, Jamaica Plain, Quincy, and Lowell.  Real estate agents, lawyers, homeschooling moms, journalists, grad students, artists and professional storytellers—more than 100 people in all—have bared their souls for a chance at the top prize.

First prize is a week's stay in Tuscany.  Additional prizes include a two night stay at Inn Magnolia and a coaching session with storyteller’s coach Doug Lipman.  Attendees will also be asked to cast their vote for “Audience Choice.”

Celebrity guest judges for the evening include master storyteller Jay O'Callahan

And Brian O'Donovan, host of A Celtic Sojourn on WGBH.

Tickets are $20 online

http://bigmouthoff-eorg.eventbrite.com/ and $25 at the door.

All proceeds benefit the StoriesLive® High School Scholarship Story Slam. Last year storytellers from massmouth, inc. taught 1,100 high school students to tell their personal stories and distributed over $5000 in prizes.
