Event Description

Yes, that 's right!!! massmouth has been invited to present two story slams at First Night!

We will be located at the Hynes Auditorium during Boston's biggest party of the year.

The  first slam  begins at 8pm and will run for an hour with an "applause-o-meter" (ah-huh, we have one) for the judging and the  second slam   will begin at 9:30pm and end 10:30pm just in time for those that want to to go down to the fireworks.

We will be creating fireworks of our own at these two new slams.

Theme is  "out with a bang" or any of the posted themes from our 2010- 2011 season so far:

  • games people play
  • transported
  • horrified
  • medical madness
  • it happened on the T
  • service
  • secrets

Look for updates on this site and bring your best 4 minute story. Let's see the New Year in with a blast.
