Celebrate flowers and the stories that have been told about them through the ages with this enchanting performance. Winner of the national Oracle award for Storytelling Excellence in the Northeast, master storyteller Diane Edgecomb brings to life the legends that surround favorite garden flowers, revealing the deep meaning cultures around the world have found there. Many flowers are celebrated, from the lamentable Narcissus to a delightful Native American story about the Dandelion. Accompanied by harper Margot Chamberlain, the performance features songs and Celtic harp interludes. Celebrate the month of flowers with this story and music performance of flower legends and songs from around the world. This is a multi-generational performance event.
