Event Description

Drawing on their years of experience as therapists and professional storytellers, Elisa Pearmain, LMHC and Lani Peterson Psy.D will guide participants through the stages of narrative healing as it applies to individual and group therapeutic work. This workshop will clarify the current research and theory of narrative healing, grounding it in multiple examples from their work with diverse populations. The hands on exploration of the tasks and stages of the narrative healing process through well tested exercises and interventions will allow participants to experience the therapeutic potential of personal story work first hand.
