Event Description
We are fortunate to have a visiting storyteller from South Carolina, Martha Reed, as our feature. We were going to have an extended Open Mic, but Martha is visiting family here in Massachusetts for just a few weeks, so we are honored that she will be our featured teller. Her tales of family madness and mayhem will have the audience laughing often. The evening will begin at 7 qith an Open Mic. Tellers are given 6 minutes to try new material or polish a familiar story. First-time tellers are guaranteed a spot and listeners are always welcome. Our venue is near Central Sq. and it is cozy and conducive to creativity. A $5 donation is suggested so that storytelling on Tuesdays will continue as it has for over twenty years.
