"Dear friends and Story-lovers,
Come to beautiful and recently renovated Lafayette Park, right outside of Tosci's and tell stories! We'll have a mic + amp + video, as always. Got stories of Moms and/or Work? "Working Mothers" is our theme this month....".

This month's MouthOff will be outside (weather permitting) for the first time! But don't worry, we will be right outside of Toscanini's in Central Square, Cambridge, so you can still enjoy the area's best ice cream and coffee drinks while taking in the area's best Storytelling talent.

Great stories you guys. Stu you had everyone, including a waiter from Desi Dhaba, in the palm of your hand! And Doria your story of the changeling was superb.

Stories in the Streets in an outreach literacy program that focuses on families in at-risk areas and fosters community engagement in storytelling by: 1) Creating opportunities for public storytelling wherever families gather — a farmer’s market, laundromat, or food line; and, 2) Offering storytelling workshops that raise family engagement in literacy, cultural awareness and community understanding.  The program is currently active in Lawrence, Brockton and Randolph.
