What's your story?
Pen to Paper is a workshop which is a hybrid course combining all different types and mediums of writing. In the past the course has incorporated fiction writing, personal stories, play writing, and poetry. The course focuses on building character, plot, and setting using prompts and exercise as well as taught instruction. Children and teens are encouraged to peruse their own personal favorite medium and pursue a longer piece.
$50.00 per session (2 days)
This is Laura Lovett’s forth year running creative writing workshops for teens and children on the South Shore and Boston. She was educated in English Language and Literature at University of Massachusetts Amherst and Oxford University with a special concentration on creative writing. Laura’s work appeared in numerous magazines such as ‘The Muse” a national magazine and she has been the featured poet on Writer’s Block Oxide, Oxford University’s radio as well as appearing as a regular guest on ‘Spoken Words’ on WATD. Currently Laura is working on two historical novels set during World War Two.
