Peter Cook is Closing the Harvard Committee on Deaf Awareness' annual Deaf Awareness Week 2010 with a special performance, Peter S. Cook is an Internationally reputed Deaf performing artist whose works incorporates American Sign Language, pantomime, storytelling, acting, and movement.12.00 10.00 students

KR Glickman and I will be at the Peter Cook Storytelling show. Peter also graduated from Clarke School for the Deaf in Northampton that KR attended. Where shall we meet for dinner in Harvard Square at 5:30? Ciao, Tony Toledo

Stories in the Streets in an outreach literacy program that focuses on families in at-risk areas and fosters community engagement in storytelling by: 1) Creating opportunities for public storytelling wherever families gather — a farmer’s market, laundromat, or food line; and, 2) Offering storytelling workshops that raise family engagement in literacy, cultural awareness and community understanding.  The program is currently active in Lawrence, Brockton and Randolph.
