is an award-winning journalist, educator and producer; her work focuses on exploring the intergenerational impact of memory and migration. For over a decade, she has been retracing her grandmother’s Holocaust survival story and documenting the reverberating impact of WWII. In the fall of 2019, she released a narrative podcast, titled We Share The Same Sky, about this story. It was listed as one of the best podcasts of the year by HuffPost and as a “Show We Love” by Apple Podcasts; it is now being taught in high school classrooms around the country. Rachael will be sharing a visual journey through through her work, offering behind the scenes anecdotes and loves notes about her deep dive into the contemporary relevance of World War II.
