Theme: Speaking in Tongues: Language Diversity in your world
Storytellers arrive early to sign up at 6:30 pm. Tellers chosen at random. Judges award prizes. Guidelines: tell a 5-minute personal story on the theme, without notes or props. MC: Margarita E. Pignataro with special guests...

"Speaking in Tongues: Lost or perhaps found, in translation? Bring your stories about adventures in meaning while listening and speaking in diverse languages, accents and cultural codes. What cross-cultural encounters, or experiences with language differences have you had? Stories in English or English peppered with any language you know. Come share your bi-tri-multilingual or monolingual story.

This program is supported, in part, by the Worcester Arts Council, a local agency funded by the MassCultural Council.
