This paper shares curriculum and methods of our unique ELA project as we hope to inspire and spark storytelling projects in high schools everywhere. We explore data, work samples, anecdotes and curricula materials from our initiative in ten Title I high schools, and compare participant's demographics and the various models for implementation used as well as outcomes. During each of our 3- 6 day residencies all students were required to participate fully as listeners and tellers. Only the morbidly shy or medically exempted were excused. In some schools an entire grade level - from the AP classes and theatre electives to the ELL and remedial ELA classes were engaged.
