Story Slams have made some noise, created a little buzz and opened up the storytelling doors to new tellers!  What's the secret? Want some answers? Or Have you been thinking of running a slam but weren't sure where to start?

Join LANES next Teller-to-Teller conversation with massmouth's Andrea Lovett.  She will present "Story Slams Soup to Nuts”.  Andrea will help answer your questions giving an outline on how to run a story slam. She will touch on everything from finding the best venue to suit your slam needs to choosing a theme and all those detailed questions in between.

Bio
Andrea Lovett is the co-founder of the award winning non-profit organization Massmouth, Inc.(http://massmouth.ning.com/)  She has helped organize and run over 40 slams in the Boston area. Most recently she was the slam coordinator for massmouth's sold out season three. Andrea teaches the workshop How To Tell A 5 min. Kickbutt Story helping potential slammers get their stories ready to tell at story slams. Andrea was featured in the Boston Globe article Truth in Telling on April 7th.
