Event Description

May 1, 2009
Storyteller Andrea Lovett
"Tales From the Table"

"Growin' Up is hard to do, especially if your mom sometimes seems to be straight out of I Love Lucy," says Andrea Lovett, New England storyteller, in her show Tales from the Table. Strange things continually happened in Andrea's home. Thanksgiving Turkeys rolled down the hill, got attacked by pets, covered with ash -- and wound up, painted with food coloring and served to guests, while her dad beamed, "Best darn Turkey you ever made!" Andrea admits she's inherited some of these rare and bizarre family qualities and is proud to share them on stage.

Andrea's mother said she was born telling tales but professionally since 1992. She shares her wit and humor in story throughout New England in festivals, libraries and private functions. Most recently at First Night in Boston! New England's largest New Years celebration.

"Andrea Lovett is brilliant and marvelously playful. Her enthusiasm sweeps up an audience and leaves it full of delight. She is a soaring star." -Jay O´Callahan, Master Storyteller
