Event Description

A Free, Hands-On Workshop (Taught by Doug Lipman)

We all know that stories can teach values through their

content. But do you know how the process of storytelling -
even the process of just teaching storytelling - can embed
values critical to a rapidly changing society?

In this workshop, I'll take you through a series of
activities you can use to train storytellers, from beginners
through intermediate tellers. You'll alternate between
experiencing the activities for yourself, and reflecting on
which values are embodied by each activity - values that, I
believe, are not only intrinsic to storytelling, but will be
necessary for helping our society reach a brighter, more
humane future.

Because this is a "workshop in progress," I will limit each workshop to 6 confirmed participants. The next 2 registrants for each time slot will be on the "waiting list;" I'll contact you if one of the first 6 drops out.
