An annual event featuring storyteller Diane Edgecomb accompanied by Margot Chamberlain on Celtic Harp and Tom Megan- multi-instrumentalist
This unique performance brings together unusual solstice legends from Greece, Scandinavia, and England. As darkness descends we'll travel through the time of the longest nights with story and music as our guides, enjoying Native American lore about the evergreens, haunting legends of light and humorous stories all set against a lush background of music on Celtic harp, synthesizer, accordion and voice.
This performance is suggested for ages 12 and above.
Parking will be available inside the front gates of the Arnold Arboretum. The concert includes light traditional refreshments at intermission. $20 Credit card reservations may be made at 617-384-5277 or online at www.arboretum.harvard.edu (use the same form as if you are registering for a class)
