Celebrate the Winter Solstice with classic evergreen myths, haunting legends of light and entertaining tales accompanied by traditional songs and original music. Join master storyteller Diane Edgecomb, along with Celtic harper Margo Chamberlain and multi-instrumentalist Tom Megan, as they offer a fascinating look at the stories behind our holiday traditions. Featured stories include the beautiful Scandinavian “Legend of the Mistletoe,” humorous English Wassail traditions, and the poignant Greek legend “The Coming of the Days of Peace.” Lovely instrumental melodies, evoking the warmth of the season, round out the event. Traditional refreshments will be served.
