Event Description

New Tellers from the Franklin Park Tenant Association Dev. share their own accounts of Boston and America. The generation gap comes together through these stories of pain, hope, and life that are relatable to any generation. The road to Boston and a true acceptance was not always an easy one for these Boston tellers. Through their true life accounts we learn the history of racism, hardships, and hope in our own city.
This performance marks the beginning of a project that will become citywide connecting Boston's neighborhoods through story like the Emerald Necklace connects the environment.
Directions are easy.Off x-way take Mass Ave exit. take Melena Cass to a left on Washington St. Haley House Cafe is on your right after the mural of the grocery store on your right. Go inside the tall iron gate, and there is plenty of parking. Haley House has a big sign you can't miss it. Please come and support these new tellers and their powerful stories. "Haley House has a performance series on Thursdays called "Art Is Life Itself" hosted by Nina LeNegra"check it out!! Andrea
