Storyteller Doria Hughes is coming to the Central Library with a special family-friendly program of stories for Valentine’s Day!
Doria says, “Ever since I was a very small child, I have read and loved stories of every kind. Now, I delight in sharing them with children of all ages! Dragons, warriors, queens, tricksters, thunder gods, and animals of every variety - these are the creatures who inhabit the stories I tell. I am a big believer in sound effects: if life doesn't provide enough of them, then I will! Cows, turkeys, donkeys, giants, monkeys, babies, leprechauns.... you name it, I'll make it come to life!!”
This free program is sponsored by the Friends of the Library - we hope you can come!
