I perform throughout the Boston area, telling true stories to adult (rather than child) audiences. My stories draw on my experiences as a writing professor, small-town reporter, Midwest transplant, gay woman, and former(-ish) child. I try to tell stories that use humor and earnestness to say something true about the world.

You would have to compete but it is chosen by audience ballot, bring your friends, here's what is happening it is on Monday the 24th at the Cambridge Public Library. 6:30pm there is a fee to get in that is going towards winners plane fare(yours if you win) hotel is taken care of. The winner goes to Chicago to compete in the Nationals on the 13th of June. Your air and hotel are taken care of.
