Hi Peter ,Your son is more than welcome to come. At 16 they have heard the good the bad and the ugly. We had the daughter of a teller last time who also took the workshop who was 12 and did really well. If your son has an interest I would definitely bring him.

Welcome Peter so glad you here. What grade do you teach? Are you interested in storytelling yourself? or using it with your classes? or a listener? We have workshops in Boston at Kennedys Midtown next one on the 6/14(on events page) also if you're around this area we have an All Star Slam on Monday night 6:30pm Cambridge Library winner goes to to have you come

Stories in the Streets in an outreach literacy program that focuses on families in at-risk areas and fosters community engagement in storytelling by: 1) Creating opportunities for public storytelling wherever families gather — a farmer’s market, laundromat, or food line; and, 2) Offering storytelling workshops that raise family engagement in literacy, cultural awareness and community understanding.  The program is currently active in Lawrence, Brockton and Randolph.
