- I am a storyteller and listener. I grew up listening to preachers in the church and sat at the feet of my father who told TALL Tales about his children. My mother was theatrical and directed my syblings and me to perform stories -she read to us - on a makeshift stage in our basement. Today I carry on the tradition of storytelling through parables, theatrical movement, and tales for larger audiences in honor of those who told stories to me.

- Greetings Andrea:
OOooooh. I missed your e-mail and spoke to Laura just before the show!!! That was suppose to be my last announcement for the show to inform our audiences that storytellers are taking it to the streets with a Blue Christmas/Holiday. Andrea, I tell you...it's almost like a church revival. There are so many people who are moving with us in this attempt to tell our own stories. It's beautiful. Brother Blue is beautiful. I just did a Kwanzaa event at one of our catholic churches in Albuquerque. I shared some memories of Brother Blue and then told a story. It can be challenging at first to do this in a place where people are not familiar with Brother Blue and do not continue the tradition of oral sharing in this electronic age...However, it looks like it didn't matter. People were moved to tears. Some even came to me and afterward vowed to share stories with their children more often. Wow oh Wow oh Wow...it's a loving blessing.
