Congratulations! thats making a splash for storytelling! It also gives me something for my Monday blog for the lanes Ct page! Way to go! Make sure the judges " get it" that storytelling is the first tool in the literacy toolbox, one that everyone can use!

Hi Gwendolyn: This is Nina LaNegra and I am new to Mass Mouth. I saw your comment on Andrea's page and followed the link. How very interesting what you are doing in Connecticut, I am in Boston and produce and host a performance series called "Art Is Life Itself!" at the Haley House Bakery Cafe EVERY Thursday night.. I would love to talk about collaborating with you or featuring you at some point in the future. MassMouth will present on Thursday December 11th starting @7pm-ish. Feel free to attend that Thursday or any Thursday that you are available. We have a Feature, a dialogue with the Feature and Open Mic. Please be in touch. Peace Nina!

Hi, That's sounds wonderful ! You should add it as an event. Do you know how? There is a button at the top of the page that says events click on that and it will take you to the page. Then on the right side of the page there is a plus sign I think that says add your event. It does require you add a picture but I am sure you must have one on your desktop you can add. Follow the steps and boom bang you've done it. If you have trouble I will be glad to help you. But people should know about it your performance . AND wanted t tell you nice article in MUSE ! Andrea

Thanks for the interest I had a lot of interest in this Mary Read character over the last 5 years and mainly at libraries - Talk Like a Pirate Day etc. I have also written a show that is historically accurate with a set of folktales from the sea embedded in them - What happens is I get hired for an 8 yrs and up show and 4 year olds and their babe in arms sibs show up in plastic pirate hats. A fall back plan helps. I noticed that you also do historical stuff - I enjoyed your website!
