About Jay O'Callahan: Jay O'Callahan has performed his stories in New Zealand, Lincoln Center, The Abbey Theater in Dublin, the National Fine Arts Complex in London, and throughout the United States. He was awarded a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts for Performance Excellence.
NASA commissioned Jay to create and perform a story to celebrate their 50th anniversary. He has performed the story, Forged in the Stars, at NASA centers around the country as well in South Africa. Time Magazine called Jay "genius." Mr. O'Callahan's newest work, Main Street, Jonesborough, was commissioned by the Town of Jonesborough and the International Storytelling Center to celebrate the town's vitality and rejuvenation.
