Event Description

"Feed The Mouth" a Halloween Fundraiser with our special guest storyteller and winner of BigMouthOff  season 2010 ,Judith Black . She will tell Out of this World Tales.

Tickets available on eventbrite

in advance $20.00 and $25.00 at the door

 

Attendees will enjoy a mini story slam (with prizes) ,theme is "spooked" on October 22nd 6:30pm at our office in JP 42 Seaverns Ave. cost $20.00

price includes:

  • Cocktail hour and hors d'oeuvres
  • Mini Slam (5 lucky tellers have their name chosen)
  • The BIG REVEAL of some of our slam season 2011-2012

Stories in the Streets in an outreach literacy program that focuses on families in at-risk areas and fosters community engagement in storytelling by: 1) Creating opportunities for public storytelling wherever families gather — a farmer’s market, laundromat, or food line; and, 2) Offering storytelling workshops that raise family engagement in literacy, cultural awareness and community understanding.  The program is currently active in Lawrence, Brockton and Randolph.
