Celebrate flowers and the coming of spring with a unique story and music journey through the beautiful springtime blossoms of Tower Hill Botanic Gardens. This event, specially crafted for the Tower Hill landscape by master storyteller Diane Edgecomb accompanied by Celtic harper Margot Chamberlain, leads the audience to some of the garden’s most beloved spots. Backgrounds include an expansive field of 25,000 daffodils, forest glades, the heritage apple orchard in fragrant bloom and an open-air gazebo where the haunting Persian legend of the Nightingale and the Rose will be told. The evening’s tales will be drawn from Ancient Greek, Norse, and Native American cultures delving into the mythic origins and meaning of favorite garden plants. Venture into spring with this enchanting evening stroll through Tower Hill’s botanic paradise.
Appropriate for adults and young people ages twelve years and above. Bring a cushion to sit on if you wish. The performance takes place rain or shine. In the event of severe weather, it will be held in Tower Hills Stoddard Education Center Theater.
