Event Description
Gala 25th Anniversary Celebration! Featuring RI storytellers Carolyn Martino, Marilyn Murphy Meardon, Diane Postoian, Valerie Tutson and the musical voices of WomanSpiritRising, a feminist chorus. Special appearance by Joan Bailey, who was born & raised in England. Since then she has lived in Rhode Island, Canada, South Africa and Australia. All the while, she has been collecting stories from all over and telling them at schools, libraries and festivals. She will be sharing some of her favorite British Music Hall gems as well. Join us for a special evening. Girls Night Out is an annual event that men and women alike return to year after year!
