To attend the event

    including how to put your name in the tin for open telling.

is from Lough Gur, County Limerick - home of the fairies, the spirits of the mounds and the hollow hills. A true Seanachie and author of "Through The Mist Of Time", a collection of poetry and short stories, he's performed widely, and brags several medals and storytelling competition victories.

Storytelling of all types and styles in a friendly, cooperative venue where seasoned tellers and newcomers alike are received with full attention.

There are no content restrictions, other than prohibiting deliberately offensive language.

Try out a new story, spin an old favorite, or just listen.

No Topics. No Competition. No Judging. Just Stories.

Stories in the Streets in an outreach literacy program that focuses on families in at-risk areas and fosters community engagement in storytelling by: 1) Creating opportunities for public storytelling wherever families gather — a farmer’s market, laundromat, or food line; and, 2) Offering storytelling workshops that raise family engagement in literacy, cultural awareness and community understanding.  The program is currently active in Lawrence, Brockton and Randolph.
