Michele Carlo has performed almost everywhere a person can tell stories, including the MOTH’s GrandSlams and Mainstage, and is thrilled to be invited back to Boston for another tour. She is the author of the memoir "Fish Out Of Agua: My Life on Neither Side of the (Subway) Tracks" (Citadel 2010). The Story Space is a community dedicated to making the world a better place through storytelling. Open Telling slots are 8 minutes long. Michele Carlo is the feature performing a 40-minute set.

Started in 2008, "Speak UP" meets every Wednesday at the Walnut Street Coffee Café in Lynn, MA. It features poetry, storytelling, jive talking, ranting, listening and just hanging out. Lottery for open mike happens at 7:30. Michele is the featured teller for the evening and performs her 30-minute set at 8:30.
