Event Description

Julia Hawkes is dead! James Costely is accused of her murder.

It's 1874 and there is Murder,Mystery and Mayhem at the Stetson House in Hanover. You are invited to travel room by room through the Stetson House and listen as storytellers and actors reveal the facts of this case. Each room has a new twist to the story. Is John Costely gulity? His fiancee didn't think so and it is said she still haunts the graveyard across the street  looking for justice . 

Curious? You'll have to come and find out how it all went down on October 22nd. There will be three tours . 7Pm,8PM and 9PM.  Tickets are $10.00 non members and $7.00 members.

Stories in the Streets in an outreach literacy program that focuses on families in at-risk areas and fosters community engagement in storytelling by: 1) Creating opportunities for public storytelling wherever families gather — a farmer’s market, laundromat, or food line; and, 2) Offering storytelling workshops that raise family engagement in literacy, cultural awareness and community understanding.  The program is currently active in Lawrence, Brockton and Randolph.
