New England Fringe Festival
do not know how long registration is open
Registration for the 2010 New England Fringe Festival (Sept/Oct) is open - all are welcome. Theater, music, dance, storytellers, comedy, performance art and whatever it is that you do.

How are acts accepted? Registration is on a first come, first served basis - open to all performance groups, duos and individuals willing and able to perform in front of an audience. Do not send video or audio with your application. The registration fee depends on the length of time of your show:
15 Minute Performances - Free
30 Minute Performances - $5
45 Minute Performances - $10
60 Minutes Performances - $15

We are always looking for additional sites, as new sites come on you will have the option (first come first served) to change venues.

Grand Prize for South Shore Grand Slam Story Slam generously donated by Nicolette Heavey and Stories In The Streets (A Maine Get Away)

Stories in the Streets in an outreach literacy program that focuses on families in at-risk areas and fosters community engagement in storytelling by: 1) Creating opportunities for public storytelling wherever families gather — a farmer’s market, laundromat, or food line; and, 2) Offering storytelling workshops that raise family engagement in literacy, cultural awareness and community understanding.  The program is currently active in Lawrence, Brockton and Randolph.
