SouthShore Story Slam is collaborating with South Shore Peer Recovery for these upcoming workshops Has your life been touched by addiction or recovery?
Do you have some stories to tell?
Learn how to turn your experiences into Moth-style stories,
which are five-minute true stories told in front of a live audience.
We will incorporate recovery messaging into entertaining, creative storytelling, so you can tell your stories in a whole new way that connects with people both in and out of recovery.
This is stigma-busting at its most fun!
Participants will also learn about opportunities
to perform in live events.
This free, two-part writing workshop is open to people in recovery from substance use disorder, loved ones, affected others, and allies.
All ages and all communities are welcome.
