Event Description

Where can you experience a plane crash in the amazon, give birth to quadrpelets and get trapped inside your own sleeping bag, all from the safety of your own chair? At a story slam of course!
Come and share your own out of this world experience or listen to outrageous true tales at the"SUPERSTITION"STORY SLAM @ the East Bridgewater Commercial Club . Hosted by Andrea Lovett, co-founder of massmouth, and supported by East Bridgewater’s Cultural Council.  Our special guest of the evening will be Anne Kerrigan co-host of Ghost Chronicles-Next Generation, a successful internet talk-radio show that airs each Wednesday evening at 7 p.m.   Anne was born and raised in East Bridgewater.

The theme for this slam is “superstition". Do you remember a time when you were afraid to walk under ladder? Or, maybe a time when slept in late on Friday the 13th to avoid bad luck? Come and share your true five minute story for a panel  five judges . Rather sit back and watch the events unravel? Listeners have an opportunity to participate and vote in an audience choice ballot.

On the night of the slam, competitors drop their name in a hat and are chosen at random to compete against nine other tellers for prizes that include restaurant gift certificates. Cash bar and free parking.

This slam will benefit the Friends of the Library

Tickets will be $15.00 at the door and $10.00 online   online tickets here

 Thank you to

This is a Massmouth South Story Slam.
