This will be the second of four events in The Festival of Narratives bridging the storytelling communities of Boston with the aid of massmouth and student population around the Massachusetts College of Art and Design. We are hosting a story slam event in the Pozen Center at MassArt on April 13 at 6:30PM doors opening with stories centered on theme, “Missed Fortunes” misfortune, superstition, and opportunities lost. The event happens to land on April 13th one of the more superstitions days in the year. We invite people to come sign up to tell a 5 minute real life story based on the theme .

Prizes will be awarded. Look forward to a fun night filled with the stories of unfortunate events.

About eventworks

Since 1977 Eventworks has designed and produced an annual, multi-event Festival featuring contemporary artists of a wide variety of skills, practices and followings. Eventworks is the vehicle for bringing talented individuals and groups to the MassArt community. This spring we are crafting “The Festival of Narratives”, a four-event extravaganza in April of 2012. All events and happenings will revolve around the multi-faceted traditions and expressions of storytelling. We are fascinated with the human exchange of stories and aim to share this through music, art, spoken word, and bridging communities together.
