On Saturday, February 4th, it will be exactly 25 Years to the Day since Brother Blue and his wife, Ruth Edmonds Hill, started their Weekly Storytelling Event in Cambridge, MA.

So we'll be celebrating in style,
with Host Andrea Kamens, Special Guest Host Tony Toledo,

& 14 amazing Tellers

Michael Anderson, Peter Carcia, Norah Dooley, Joseph Keane, Marty Levin, Bruce Marcus, Rev. Cindy Maybeck, Joseph "Big Joe" Pagliuca, Elisa Pearmain, Ellen Robertson, Brendyn Schneider, Scott Schultz, and Raelinda Woad;
plus a special video performance by the late Yana Sherman

This evening of Storytelling theater start promptly at 7:PM at St. Paul A.M.E. Church*, located at 37 Bishop Allen Drive, Cambridge, MA (corner of Bishop Allen & Columbia, 4 blocks from the Central Square T Stop).
Advance Tickets are only $20, and are available at The Story Space, or online (, through February 2nd. Any remaining Tickets will be $25.00 at the Door.

Plus, if you haven't been to The Story Space in a while, we really miss seeing and hearing you, so please remember that we still meet every Tuesday night:

*Please note that the Church is not Handicap Accessible: there are 3 steps going up to the Front Entrance, and at least 3 steps going down to the Social Hall.

Grand Prize for South Shore Grand Slam Story Slam generously donated by Nicolette Heavey and Stories In The Streets (A Maine Get Away)

Stories in the Streets in an outreach literacy program that focuses on families in at-risk areas and fosters community engagement in storytelling by: 1) Creating opportunities for public storytelling wherever families gather — a farmer’s market, laundromat, or food line; and, 2) Offering storytelling workshops that raise family engagement in literacy, cultural awareness and community understanding.  The program is currently active in Lawrence, Brockton and Randolph.
