Storyteller Andrea Lovett will be part of the Tower Fest annual celebration this year. The D.W. Fields Park Association is holding its TowerFest Saturday October 10th from 11:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. Admission is free Andrea will be telling from 11AM to 12PM
The purpose of the event is to celebrate the beauty of the park, the generosity of D.W. Field who gave Brockton the park and to make people aware of what a great resource it is.
The Memorial Tower, built in 1925 to honor local men and women who served in World War I, will also be open on the 12th . Participants will be able to climb to the top of the 65-foot tower, which has about 100 steps.
