Enjoy each springtime path with this engaging performance created for Tower Hill’s unique landscape by Oracle award-winning storyteller Diane Edgecomb and Celtic harper Margot Chamberlain.
This delightful event begins with a Maypole dance to wake up the earth and then takes the audience on a walk through favorite gardens, entertaining travelers with stories and music from around the world that celebrate our love of flowers. Don’t expect Tower Hill’s signature Greek statuary to be silent! Cavorting tales of Pan, Flora, goddess of spring and flowers, and lamentable Narcissus all have their moments. From Maypole to participatory sing-a-longs intended to wake up the earth, Troubadour Day with its “Pop-up” stories and songs is sure to delight. Follow - if you can!!
