Event Description

Start off your weekend – or date night - at Truth Be Told! Boston Storytelling at the United Parish in Brookline.  This is a charitable storytelling group. No prize-pressure, no microphones. Just an intimate setting of storytelling on the theme “Animal Crackers.”  Animals come in many varieties-wild, pets, farm, zoo to name a few, and even as humans acting up. At some time in your life you have had an encounter with one of these.

The storytelling guidelines are few – a five minute, true story told without using notes. Even if you are under the impression that you do not have a story to tell about an animal, come and listen …. and you might think of one.  A $5 donation is requested at the door, and all funds received at the November 2nd event will be donated to the Greater Boston Food Bank.
