Do we need another weekly/monthly venue?

We've lost the Medford Booksellers venue. We can't just rely on Blue's forever. Where should we convene, and who should lead us?

Blue's always good but yeah not forever. What about looking at venues differently. i.e. places that are unaccustomed to storytellers but are made for telling. Like a bar on an off night? A few of us have been talking about this idea thinking about trying it out with some interactive storytelling. Get people involved, perhaps build new audiences.

Hey Andrea did you know in Maine that is being done by Lynne Cullen at bull Feeneys Pub and Debb Freedman at Geno's Rock Bar.
They are still building audiences but I bet you could ask them how they approached the venues. Both are monthly venues apealing to diffrent adult audiences.

Thanks to the hard work of our Moose membership we now have 3 year round monthly venues and 6 more that are seasonal with one being weekly during school season.

You have more than Blues in Mass. Now that you have MASSMOUTH maybe a venues list of Club Passim, Tonys (Glugu cafe?) and others some may know but not all do. A venues page or list with generic description will aslo allow you to link during a monthly event description for directions, venue photos, video etc to keep the calender description brief.

You guys are off to a great start and I cant wait to visit one of you venues.
