Thanks for the invite/welcome message Andrea. Unfortunately I have a class this evening and won't be able to attend the opening slam. I so wish I could - I'm really looking forward to becoming more of a "regular." That said, I plan to come to the next one in a few weeks. Look forward to meeting you there. Meanwhile, enjoy tonight's kick-off to the season! Deirdre

Regretfully, I have a meeting that night. I'm hoping to attend some toward the end of the month and later. How wonderful to have the possibility of seeing you again. When I come, I hope to bring the wonderful man I've been dating. He's new to storytelling but enjoys it. Looking forward to seeing you!
Hugs back, Carrie

Hi Andrea,

Thanks for the hello. I'm actually a friend of Phil Goldman. I live in RI and we are planning on coming on 10-4. I may tell a story depending on the theme, etc...looking forward to meeting you. When do find out about the theme? Do you send something out to the list soon?
Thanks , Marvin

Thanks for your welcome, Andrea, and for your encouragement. I'll need help getting started this first time in Worcester, but I think that there's a lot of untapped story potential out in Central Mass! Hoping to make it in to another slam before too long. x J

Thanks, yes, I was at Norah and Judith's workshop last night...great fun and lots of good advice! I was also at the big mouthoff to cheer on my friends Nicolette and Lani. I'm a member of LANES and the Andover Storytellers Guild. Nice to be here!

Hi Andrea,
Thanks for your welcome.
Would love to get your ideas about how to connect True Story Theater's work in the community. Is there a time we could touch base by phone or for a cup of coffee in the next week or two?
Best, Christopher (

Hi Andrea! Thanks for the welcome! I am part of a performance storytelling group in the Twin Cities (Minneapolis/St Paul MN), have been telling at Fringes and anywhere else for about seven years now. I'm very interested in learning about similar groups that exist across the US, was glad to hear of a Boston group (via the recent national story slam). We get around, so maybe someday when I get back to lovely Boston I can time it right to check out one of you guys' shows!

Would it be all right to post the A-MAZE-ING Story Slam in your event section? It's not in Mass but so close you could spit! Well I wasnt sure if it was a member posts or sticking to the state or as of yet undefined. Which ever is OK just working on calendars today.

Thanks for your welcome - I'm in Foxboro and attended the workshop by Tony Toledo at Skillshare last weekend. I'd love to hear and attend some events but not present.
